The 1st thing to do when creating your investment narrative: Identify the core of your story. This core narrative should tell people: - Why you are building this - Why now is the perfect time to start - Why your unique insights means you will win - How this could cause you to become a $1bn+ company This should be a 4-6 sentence story max, which you can then build your narrative/pitch around. Without any unnecessary details. Only then can you start to fill in the rest. #entrepreneurship #startups #venturecapital
How your unique insights will win is a question no external adviser/consultant can answer for you. A founder owns it before more resources come in place.
That core narrative needs to be so sharp that it sticks and these 4 questions are a perfect way to put it together Gian Seehra.
H*ll yeah, Gian "Weaver of Stories" Seehra
Good tips! It's like saying, "Tell a clear, short story about why your idea is cool and why it will work." If you can explain it simply and get people excited, they'll want to hear more. Curious to know the best story you've heard from a startup.
CORE matters the most whether it's your choice for a business investment OR choosing your LIFE PARTNER because you are going to invest the most precious thing of your life and that's the TIME which you'll never get back.
its like an elevator pitch except a lot more robust since it is about pitching to investors Gian Seehra
Very true Gian! How you tell your story is so important and learning how to do this early will generate a lot of opportunities and win you a lot of support
Facts! It's about conveying the passion and conviction that drive you to build something great.
Gian core narrative is a definite building block!
