This open letter is hosted by Steward, the people-powered decapitalisation fund.

Steward is a radical answer to the most profound question humanity has ever faced: ‘Can we?’

Can we harness our talent for ingenuity and collective action to respond to the unfolding systems collapse and realise the glorious possibility of this moment?

We are developing Steward by posing three questions:

1 - How can we use people-power to create a decapitalisation fund, which invests in businesses at 0% financial return but delivers more valuable returns in the form of an increasingly safe and just future?

 
2 - How is this fund best invested in businesses to enable a transformation to a regenerative economy?

3 - And, crucially, how do we establish Steward as a cultural phenomenon?

We are currently fundraising for a participatory co-design phase which brings people together to live with and love these questions, and leads to a blueprint for Steward's development.
