What a fabulous introduction to the mountains and lakes of Croatia. We were met by our smiling guide Hrvoje at Zagreb airport, then transported to our first hotel were everything was ready for us to check-in, and the same smoothness happened at all our other hotels throughout the week.
Everything about this trip, from start to finish, was excellent….apart from the weather, which was bad in parts…………but in no way did that spoil the trip. Our guide and all the drivers were excellent and informative, the organisation ran smoothly, the accommodation was very good throughout (the homestay was a real experience) and the food throughout was very good with plenty of choice for all tastes.
Hrvoje was a great tour guide! We spent a lovely day with him enjoying all that Istria has to offer. He is so knowledgeable about Istrian history and culture.
